Marketing: You CAN Do It!
Move your Gift Shop forward by reviewing basic marketing principles and looking at “real world” examples of successful hospital gift shop marketing.

Overview: Marketing is everything you do and say to drive customers to your store and influence their purchases. What are you saying? What are you doing? How are you doing it? This interactive workshop will review basic marketing principles and demonstrate their application with “real world” examples of successful hospital gift shop marketing and keep you moving toward “your” plan for greater success.

Presenter: Angelina Blackmon
Angelina has twenty five years experience in wholesale and retail sales, purchasing, inventory management and retail financial management. She has demonstrated ability to profitably expand a mature business with 30% increase in gross sales. Angelina was a featured Gift Shop presenter at the 2009 AHVRP Annual Leadership Conference whose presentation rated among the highest of educational offerings.  She is an active AHVRP member currently serving on the AHVRP Retail Operations Committee.
