Matching skills with needs has always been our job.  This session will help you learn to be creative and find new ways to serve the hospital while fulfilling the volunteer's desire to help.  Volunteer nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists and more.

Paul will review the various techniques he has used to manage volunteers' expectations related to the norms and culture of his institution and define success and service up front to help candidates understand what is expected of them as a volunteer. He will also discuss the similarity between paid and unpaid corrective action processes using real-life scenarios and outcomes.

 Affiliated Group Discounts for 2012 Audio Conferences:

AHVRP is excited to offer its affiliated groups a reduced group rate for AHVRP’s 2012 audio conferences.  This new pricing gives affiliated groups a chance to offer their members a variety of educational opportunities and earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) while attending their state/regional meetings. 

A minimum of 10 members is required per group. 

AHVRP must be contacted at least one week prior to the audio conference.

First person (main contact) pays member rate of $99 and each additional member pays $25 to participate.  All participants receive CEUs.
