AHVRP is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of the organization's most significant responsibilities. You may visit the AHVRP website and browse without providing any personal information.

You will, however, be directed to www.hospitalconnect.com, to register for access to www.AHA.org members-only secure content. Hospitalconnect.com is the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) wholly-owned portal service that supports security and login functions for aha.org and various other healthcare websites. You may be asked to provide limited contact information when sending AHVRP messages via the website. Contact information submitted to AHVRP is intended solely for the use in communications specific to the comment or question submitted.

Acquisition of Information. AHVRPdoes not acquire any more information about consumers than is necessary to provide a high level of service.

AHVRP Employees and Privacy. AHVRP gives access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.

Disclosure to Third Parties. AHVRP will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if AHVRP is compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, AHVRP has the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to provide AHVRP services.

Privacy and AHVRP Affiliates and Partnering Organizations. When AHVRP makes technology or services available to affiliates and partnering organizations, AHVRP will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and AHVRP will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use AHVRP's technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
