How do I register to attend the upcoming Annual Conference?
Registration information for the Annual Conference can be found under Education & Awards>Annual Conference site. Online registrations are fast, accurate, and secure.
How do I become a presenter at the AHVRP Annual Conference?
The Conference Call for Presentations goes out towards the end of each year. It allows submissions of proposals to present an educational presentation at the AHVRP Annual Conference. Proposals are reviewed by the Annual Conference Education Committee.

How do I renew my Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services (CAVS) credential?
Please go Programs & Resources>Certification to download a CAVS Renewal Application Form.
I missed a recent educational program but am still interested in the information that was presented. What can I do?
AHVRP offers a CD for purchase that contains all educational programs offered at the Annual Conference. Contact AHVRP at ahvrp@aha.org or (312) 422-3939 if you are interested in purchasing this CD.
How do I receive CEU credits for attendance at a recently attended AHVRP educational session?
Email AHVRP at ahvrp@aha.org to request your certificate of attendance.![]()

How do I volunteer to join an AHVRP Committee or Task Force?
If you are a current AHVRP member and interested in joining one of AHVRP’s Committees or Task Forces, please email ahvrp@aha.org. A complete listing of the current Committees is available under About Us>Leadership>Committees.
I am interested in becoming an AHVRP Board Member. What positions are available and how do I run for office?
Each year in June, AHVRP conducts elections for President, President Elect, Board Members at Large, and Committee on Nominations. If you are a current AHVRP member and are interested in running for office watch for the AHVRP Call for Leaders in early Spring.![]()

Where do I find my membership number?
Your membership number appears in your welcome email and kit as well as in each News You Can Use e-blast from AHVRP. If you are having trouble locating your membership number, email ahvrp@aha.org or call AHVRP at (312) 422-3700.
How can I become an AHVRP member?
Membership information can be found About Us>Membership. You can also join AHVRP now using our fast, easy, and secure Online Membership Application.
How do I renew my membership?
All members should automatically receive an invoice a few months before their renewal date. There are several ways to renew your membership: submit the Online Membership Application, mail or fax in the printed Membership Application Form, or call AHVRP at (312) 422-3700. Dues may be paid using credit card or check. If you haven’t received an invoice and think your membership is up for renewal, email ahvrp@aha.org.
How do I update my contact information?
Members may update their contact information directly online by going to Members Only>Update Member Profile. Please review all of the information provided to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date. Also, please remember to provide all of your information, as we realize there may be many ways to contact you. AHVRP will automatically use the information you specify as your “primary” address.
When is my renewal date?
Please email ahvrp@aha.org to find out your membership renewal date is.
Can I get a receipt for my membership dues?
Please email ahvrp@aha.org to get a receipt for payment of your annual dues.
I can not access the Members Only section or the website. What is my username and password?
Please go to “Forgot Password” on your membership login to find out what your current user name and password. If you do not know your current user name, email ahvrp@aha.org.
I tried to log on to the AHVRP website and it states that my membership number is being used by someone else. What should I do?
Please double check your membership number to confirm that you are keying it in correctly. Also, please make sure that you have added three zeros (000) before the seven digit number. If you have double checked both of these and your login still is not working, please call AHVRP at (312) 422-3700 or email ahvrp@aha.org.
When is National Volunteer Week and how can I order products?
Please go to the Programs/Resources>Volunteer Recognition Products page for the date and a list of websites where you can order products.

How do I determine who the VISN Leader or Regional Representative is for my region so I can contact them?
To find and contact your local VISN Leader or Regional Rep, refer to the About Us>Leadership page. Current AHVRP members may also contact other AHVRP members by searching the Member Directory located under Members Only>Member Directory.
How can I communicate with other AHVRP members on current industry news and trends?
AHVRP’s ListServ offers members the opportunity to communicate with other members via email. Ask questions and get answers fast on industry news and trends. Refer to Members Only>Listserv for instructions on how to start an account or access the archives.
What types of networking opportunities are available at AHVRP’s Annual Conference & Exhibition?
AHVRP hosts several networking events at the Annual Conference. The Annual Conference website lists the most up-to-date information on all Conference programs and events.![]()
