Mission: To plan and execute annual education conference by selecting faculty and topics in the fields of volunteer management and retail operation professional.

Review and evaluate speaker application for intensives, keynote, general session, concurrent sessions, and retail operations
Organize the schedule for sessions and special events
Education Part 1: Review and Revision Committee Board Liaison: Patricia Garcia, CAVS

Mission: Monitor, review and revise existing AHVRP products and publications for quality, timeliness, and relevance.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Inventory of current and existing products
Add additional tools to Advocacy Toolkit to benefit membership
Product review – annually select one or two publications to revise or retire
Education Part 2: Product Development/Marketing Board Liaison: Mary Rahaim, CAVS
Staff Liaison: Kiwani Cooper
Mission: Develop and launch electronic publications, web and audio-based non-conference related education using available AHVRP resources including survey data, the DVS toolkit, AHVRP ListServ and the Certification domain areas.
Responsibilities:
Develop and review content for two key DVS publications: (1) pre-conference and (1) post conference

Develop web and audio-based programs based on needs assessment

Mission:Recognize and celebrate best practices in volunteer management
Responsibilities
Develop a working timeline for program application, review and awards process
Communicate timeline for applications to AHVRP membership
Collect applications and distribute among taskforce members for grading and selection of winners
Collaborate with Conference Planning Committee and staff on presentation of the programs at the luncheon
Mission: Provide opportunities, assistance and guidance for members at the state, regional and local levels for the purpose of affiliated group and VISN development, facilitating networking, education and information exchange.
Responsibilities
Continue ongoing communication with AG Leaders to maintain current contact information in AG Roster on website
Develop a plan and implementation strategies for board approval to collaborate with affiliated groups, to grow memberships through the grassroots.
Expand AHVRP supported dual billing plan for affiliate and national dues
In concert with president elect plan annual conference AG/VISN leaders’ meeting
Develop educational opportunities in concert with AHVRP Education Chair and Education Specialist
Revise AG/VISN Leader Tool Box
Develop plan for revision of affiliated group section of the website
Collaborate with staff to develop a timeline for implementation
Develop and implement a reporting/communication mechanism and timeline for affiliated groups to communicate with AHVRP on affiliate activities for inclusion in:

Collaborate with staff to update AHVRP/Affiliated Group agreement
Mission: Promote AHVRP and the benefits of membership to its members, prospective members and key stakeholders; and to continually assess members’ needs and opinions.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive list of AHVRP membership benefits and an implementation plan to demonstrate the value
Develop a schedule for on-going review and revision
Increase membership by 5%
Develop and implement a plan to identify and reach out to potential members
Develop and implement mechanism to make contact with all members at least 2x a year with an eye toward non-conference attendees. Collaborate with staff to develop the annual member satisfaction survey
Develop survey tool for new members to investigate expectations from their membership. Report findings to board in membership report.
Develop recruitment campaign to encourage membership from nontraditional markets (identify non-traditional markets). Generate one new campaign per year
Develop a plan to achieve and maintain 80% membership retention rate
Contact terminated members monthly with reasons for termination. Report findings on a quarterly basis

Mission: Provide membership of AHVRP and our subscribers with quarterly newsletters containing articles to inform, educate and inspire from the AHVRP President, Board members, COV Chair and other contributors, highlighting programs and achievements around America.
