Affiliated Groups
Affiliated Groups are regional, state or metropolitan organizations of Directors of Volunteer Services who enter into written agreements of affiliation with AHVRP. The purpose of affiliation is to provide an organized structure that will enable AHVRP members to work together on problems of mutual interest; conduct educational programs; serve as a resource to related healthcare associations; provide channels of communications between AHVRP and the affiliated groups and its members; and to promote the purpose of and membership of the Association.

Affiliated groups provide valuable links between healthcare administrators of volunteer services in close geographic proximity. Improved communications and cooperation between members enhances national membership and gives members opportunities to provide input and develop professionally.

Please join us in introducing and sharing this advocacy tool with your members! If you are not a member of AHVRP, we invite you to take a Sneak Peak at the Toolkit Introduction and At A Glance Pages. To take full advantage of the toolkit, you must become a member of AHVRP. Join today!

We would like to know if your Affiliated Group has a web site so we can provide a web site link from the AHVRP site to yours. This is great benefit for potential members and others who wish for more information about local Associations. Please send your website's link to AHVRP at ahvrp@aha.org.
