AHVRP 2015 Conference

Orlando World Center Marriott

2015 Board of Directors
Passionate, professional, visionary leadership is the cornerstone of every successful business and organization.  The 2015 AHVRP Committee on Nominations has the honor and great responsibility to find leaders to promote future growth and success of AHVRP and our profession. We ask YOU to consider an AHVRP leadership role. We Need You.

Serving on the Board and the Committee on Nominations imparts an incredible amount of personal and professional growth.  It increases your ‘bench strength’ and confidence; these roles are career and resume builders.  Please talk to fellow AHVRP members that would be an asset to our organization.  Encourage, inspire, motivate and repeat until they complete their nominations!  Please remember that members must nominate themselves.  You must nominate yourself.

Each candidate is expected to:

  • Be familiar with the mission and goals of AHVRP
  • Understand and support the relationships between AHVRP and the chapter/VISN leaders
  • Have references with knowledge of the candidate’s management and leadership styles.

Each candidate must demonstrate the following qualities and experiences:

  • Passion for the profession and commitment to volunteerism and the position they are considering
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Prior service on AHVRP or state/chapter committees
  • Attendance at AHVRP conferences
  • Committed and dependable.

Our 2016 slate will consist of two At Large board members, one President-Elect and four Committee on Nomination leaders.  As we all know, often the most competent, capable and ultimately successful volunteers are simply waiting to be asked to serve.

We are asking YOU to serve. Please share your passion, vision and professional knowledge and submit your nomination for the

2016  President Elect/Board Member
2015 Committee on Nominations

Please read the Information Packet on our Call for Leaders and make your nomination today!
